Agneepath Scheme Approved by central govt on 14th June for the requirement Indian Youth to serve in Indian Army. Candidates selected under this scheme known as Agniveers.
In this scheme Indian Youth serve in the Armed Forces for four years.
What is Agneepath
Agneepath scheme name given to Indian armed forces “Tour Of Duty”. Under this scheme candidate selected for 4 years. After the 4 year service only 25% will in regular cadre in Armed forces. And the rest will get 11-12 lakh in one lap at retirement time.
46000+ Agniveers Recruit in the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force under this Agneepath scheme for 4 years. All recruit trained by Armed forces in same process as currently.
Who are Agniveers?
The Youth who joining the Armed forces under Agneepath scheme known as Agniveers. After the complete 4 year Agneeveer will offered an opportunity to apply permanent enrollment in Armed forces. But only 25% Youth selected for next 15 year based on their last 4 year work, Physical fitness team work etc. And Rest 75% will retire with retirement package.
Agneepath Scheme Eligibility Criteria Age Limit And Education
The candidate who want to join Indian Army under Agneepath scheme and in the age group 17.5 to 23 years are eligible for Indian Army Recruitment 2022.

Agneepath Scheme Agniveer Salary
Agniveer will get around 4.76 lakh per annum which will increase to 6.92 lakh per annum for final year in Agneepath scheme. Check below complete detail like Monthly package, In hand salary etc

Total contribution in Agniveer Corpus Fund after four years- Rs 5.02 Lakh
After completed 4 year Agniveer will get 11.71 lakh as Seva Nidhi package. The “Seva Nidhi” will be exempt from Income Tax. Also their is no benefit gratuity and pensionary given to Agniveer.
Life Insurance Cover of Rs 48 lakh will ve provided to Agniveer for the duration of their engagement period in the Indian Armed Forces.
