Benefits and Features of SC Post Matric Scholarship
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC started by Central govt to provide finical benefit to Scheduled Caste students of the country.
Only those students whose parent’s income is not more than Rs 800000 can take benefit from the scheme
The performance of the scheme will be evaluated by the Ministry Of Social justice and empowerment once in 3 years.
The total number of slots under the Scheme is 4200
Under this scheme started by the Central Government is provided financial assistance only at the post-matriculation level.
Under the SC Post Matric Scholarship 2023, scholarship is provided to the Scheduled Caste students by the government of the state where the applicants belong

Eligibility Criteria of SC Post Matric Scholarship

Applicant who wants to apply must be a permanent resident of India.
Apart from this Applicant must be studying at the post-matric level
The applicant who apply must belong to the SC category
Parents annual income should not exceed Rs.800000 who student applying under the SC Post Matric Scholarship
If there is more than one student with equal marks then the scholarship will be given to the student having a lower family income.
30% of Available slots will reserve for SC girl students
If for any reason the student fails to be promoted to the next semester or class, the same scholarship will not be awarded

How to apply for SC Post Matric Scholarship Scheme
First of all you have to visit the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
Then homepage of the website will open in front of you.
On the homepage of the website you see option New Registration and click on it
Also you have to read all the rules and regulations and tick the declaration.
Now click on the option of Continue, after that a new page will be displayed in front of you.
Now fill all you personal information like Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Gender etc Then Click on register Button.
Now login using registration ID and then Application form icon show and select the scholarship category
After that, you have to enter all the required information in this form like your name, date of birth, father’s name, Aadhar card number, mobile number, etc
Now click on Save and Continue
After that upload all required documents
Then click on Final Registration
